I have always been willing to help out a friend (and friends of friends) with IT support. A good friend of mine asked me to help out with some of the therapists he was supporting as a virtual assistant. Since we are both in the NASW, this seemed like a good opportunity to help people who liked to help people - and earn some extra cash - while in school. The stories I heard from some therapist shocked me! I couldn’t believe what they were paying! Maybe I should have gone into IT. But since I went into social work, my rates are probably half of what you expect.
